MHSIBCA COMMITTEES All committees listed have a short synopsis or purpose along with Committee Chairpersons (ALL CHAIRPERSONS WILL BE ANNOUNCED AFTER AUGUST 1st) and those currently on the Committee. You may sign up or give suggestions for any committee, as long as you are a member of MHSIBCA. When registering or commenting, please include your name and bowling/school connection in the email to: webmaster.
ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
AUDIT AND BUDGET -
This committee will yearly audit all financial records of the MHSIBCA and report
back to the MHSIBCA Executive Board with a proposed budget for the following
season.
AWARDS -
This committee will select appropriate
awards for All State, Coach of the Year, etc, and will solicit bids from vendors.
BOWLING
PROPRIETOR RELATIONS -
This committee will strive to ascertain
input from proprietors regarding high school bowling and seek solutions to
various problems that may arise.
EDUCATION -
This committee (ALSO REFERRED TO AS CLINIC/SEMINAR COMMITTEE) will research various
educational programs and/or seminars that may benefit coaches and/or athletes.
HISTORICAL RECORDS -
This committee will establish and
maintain records of Coach Members and their Teams for the MHSIBCA.
LEGISLATIVE
(CONSTITUTION & BY LAWS) -
This committee will review and make
suggested changes in the MHSIBCA Constitution and By Laws.
MIDDLE SCHOOL/JUNIOR HIGH -
This committee will explore the area of
Middle School/Junior High competition throughout the state and make
recommendations for awards, competition, etc.
NOMINATING
(EXECUTIVE OFFICERS) -
This committee will solicit candidates
for various offices of the MHSIBCA and present a slate of candidates to be
elected.
RANKING -
POLLS -
This committee will establish a list of the Top Teams in all three Divisions and
have them posted on
the MHSIBCA web site.
SPONSORS -
This committee will set guidelines for
companies or individuals who might wish to sponsor or represent themselves with
the MHSIBCA.
TOURNAMENTS -
This committee will set guidelines for those wishing to have their Invitational
Tournaments approved and posted on
the MHSIBCA web site.
YEARLY REVIEW
(REGION EVENTS & STATE FINALS) -
This committee will seek suggestions and
recommendations from the membership regarding POST SEASON improvements that can
be made in subsequent seasons. They will then forward their concerns to the
MHSAA Bowling Committee prior to their annual meeting. |
